We’re hiring a
Sales Executive

Led by a second-generation team of successful entrepreneurs, VPL is looking for a seasoned Sales Executives to fill a newly created position focused on selling both logistics services and new SaaS offerings.   The ideal candidate has both healthcare and supply chain experience, with technology sales experience an extra bonus.  The Sales Executive role reports to the VP Sales.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify, qualify and cultivate new sales opportunities through multiple mediums such as email, phone calls, trade shows and channel partner relationships
  • Execute on prospecting activities associated with the company’s marketing plan, and specific marketing campaigns
  • Engage with senior executives of prospective customers in discussions regarding industry supply chain challenges and VPL’s solutions
  • Update and maintain the company CRM tool with all relevant details associated with prospecting activities
  • Responsible for managing your assigned territory and achieving sales targets

What You’ll Need

  • Professional, enthusiastic and friendly phone and in person presence
  • Four-year college degree
  • At least 5 years’ sales related experience, preferably in a B2B environment
  • Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets
  • Preferred experience with hospital and health system sales
  • Preferred experience with logistics and supply chain sales
  • Ability and willingness to be self-sufficient
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to think quickly during conversations to address prospect’s questions/concerns
  • Confident, nicely-persistent attitude that focuses on achieving goals
  • Willing to support the team in any way to help achieve company goals
  • Ability to adapt to the changing demands of a very fast-growing company, including being flexible in your thinking and approach to achieving goals
  • Willing to embrace the company’s Guiding Principles
