About the Columbus Business First Best Places to Work Program
Every year, Columbus Business First awards a handful of select Central Ohio companies and organizations with the title of “Best Places to Work,” and it is the longest-standing wards program in the Midwest region. The program is open to any company with a Central Ohio office and at least ten full-time employees. Winners are determined through workplace satisfaction surveys administered independently by Quantum Workplace, a company based in Omaha, Nebraska.
Awards are presented in five categories:
- Extra-large companies with 250+ employees
- Large companies with 100 to 249 employees
- Medium companies with 50 to 99 employees
- Small companies with 25 to 49 employees
- Micro companies with 10 to 24 employees
VPL named among Best Places to Work in 2019
Thanks to our open-door policies, collaborative decision-making processes, Pay for Performance (PFP) metrics, flexible scheduling, and unique health and wellness initiatives, VPL is one of the medium-sized companies recognized this year.
VPL will be attending the Best Places to Work awards luncheon at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Columbus on Thursday, November 14th, 2019.
